Chief Operating Officer opportunity in a high growth, nationally integrated health services provider.

Backed by an engaged private equity investor, the organisation is clinically led and client centric and well positioned for continued growth and expansion in a rapidly changing sector. There is a clear strategic vision and this newly created COO role will be a key member of the executive leadership team, accountable for all operational aspects of the business and ensuring seamless quality delivery across multiple business units and geographic locations. Critically this COO will lead the integration of acquired entities, brands and transformation across core systems, process and people to enable the future scaling of the organisation. Reporting to the CEO, you will be responsible for leading integration, transformation and scaling of operations, embedding a unified group brand through the organisation, operational excellence, workforce management and service quality.

What we’re looking for:
  • An experienced and proven Chief Operating Officer – someone who knows what good looks like and brings experience aligning a large distributed workforce and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution, operational and people excellence.
  • A transformational leader who has successfully led change and transformation, including integrating acquired entities. This includes delivering operational efficiencies, scaling growth and revenue and uplifting capability, whilst maintaining engagement across the organisation and front-line.
  • Experience leading a diverse workforce, ideally including complex, casualised care workforces across aged care and disability.
  • A people first leader with knowledge and empathy of the sector highly preferred (aged care and disability services), or other highly regulated, complex industries with highly casualised workforces. Past success leading established teams through significant change.
  • Outcomes and results focused with a bias to action and focus on value creation. Ability to move with pace, thrive in a hands on lean environment and past success operationalising strategy. Exposure to private equity / institutional investors strongly preferred.
  • Must hold current working rights in Australia.
