The Role
As the appointed head of Southern Cross Care WA Inc., (SCCWA) the Chief Executive works collaboratively with the Board, Executive and senior management to provide strategic direction to promote and manage the delivery of services and care outcomes.

You will be a contemporary thinker and consumer focused executive with significant experience in leading organisations through transformational consumer focused change. You will be as comfortable talking to the extraordinary people at SCC WA as well as consumers and their families about issues that matter most to them as well as government Ministers, regulators and funders.

Essential
- Proven Chief Executive or CEO ready as at Senior Executive level in an organisation of relevant size and scale.
- Values alignment and mission led leadership.
- Strategic Leadership with success implementing organisational transformation through effective change management.
- Dynamic, highly developed leadership skills with a collaborative and consultative style. Strong team player and motivator with highly developed interpersonal, communication and people management skills.
- Aged Care Services, other related Healthcare (including disability, community and hospitals) or other regulated multi-site consumer and asset heavy operators. Broad knowledge and passion for quality aged care and human services, with a sound knowledge of the application of legislation, standards, and programs. You will also be familiar with leading organisations with diverse service offerings and large dispersed asset bases and workforce.
- Strong financial and commercial acumen with demonstrated strategic planning and lateral thinking skills coupled with strong budgeting, planning and evaluation skills; a champion for growth, excellence and improvement.
- Quality, Compliance & Governance focus – knowledge of Aged Care and Community Care, or other health care settings with the ability to meet legislative and governance standards and to safeguard and build on SCC WA’s outstanding focus on quality and compliance.
- Proven experience and success in advocating with key stakeholders to advance sector, consumer, and organisational goals, including at all levels of government and across the industry.
