Mike (B Com, M HRM) is a foundation Partner and jointly leads the Perth office. Mike is focused on the leadership of Derwent’s Resources & Mining Practice extending to Board and ‘C’ suite appointments.

Mike is a passionate advocate of resources commerce and has acquired an encyclopaedic knowledge of the industry landscape and its key players. He finds constant inspiration in the leaders who champion the sector. Mike’s ability to interpret complex, mission critical job briefs and go the extra mile to find hidden talent has been pivotal to his success.

Mike has over 20 years’ experience in executive search within international firms. Prior to joining Derwent, he worked within the retail and manufacturing industries and was formative in the establishment of Michael Page in Perth – an international recruitment business.
