Megan McCracken

Strategic Adviser

Megan is a Strategic Adviser at Derwent, providing advisory services to the firm's leadership team. Based in Perth, she brings more than 30 years of experience across the resources and transport sectors, with deep expertise in leading through organisational change and a commitment to developing leaders who are both effective and human.


Megan is an adviser and qualified leadership coach, supporting executives and businesses through significant organisational change to transform individuals, cultures, and workplaces. In addition to her advisory and coaching work at Derwent, she continues to exercise active leadership through board directorships.


She was inducted into the West Australian Women's Hall of Fame in the business category in 2026 in recognition of her exceptional business leadership, unwavering community commitment, and transformative impact on gender equality across multiple industries. Megan won the Industry Advocate award at the 2021 National Women in Industry Awards.


Megan holds a Bachelor of Arts in Industrial Relations and Politics and a Master of Industrial Relations from The University of Western Australia, and a Graduate Diploma in Business from Edith Cowan University and a Graduate Diploma in Applied Linguistics from Macquarie University.


Megan is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and holds accreditations with the International Coaching Federation and the European Mentoring and Coaching Council.
