Luke is a Partner in Derwent's Industrial practice, where he works with leading Australian based and multinational organisations to identify, assess, and develop high-impact board members, C-suite executives, and senior leaders. Based in Perth, Luke brings over two decades of international executive search and leadership advisory experience, helping clients build leadership capability that drives sustainable business performance.

He has deep expertise across industrial goods and technology, mining and metals, energy, oil & gas, private equity, and health, serving listed companies, private enterprises, government entities, and not-for-profits. Having worked extensively across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, North America, and Asia-Pacific, Luke possesses a deep understanding of global markets and the complex talent challenges facing organisations. His broad international perspective and extensive network enable him to deliver tailored insights and solutions that support clients' growth and transformation agendas.

Before joining Derwent, Luke was a Partner at NASDAQ-listed Heidrick & Struggles, returning to Australia after 13 years abroad. Earlier, he led the global Resources practice at Swedish-owned Mercuri Urval and founded a boutique executive search firm with offices across the UK, Germany, and Belgium, which he subsequently sold.

Luke is a Saville certified leadership assessor, integrating these assessment and coaching capabilities to support leadership development, succession planning, and culture shaping initiatives.

He holds a Bachelor of Business from Swinburne University of Technology and a Post Graduate qualification in Law from the Australian National University.
