Julia is a Research Consultant at Derwent, partnering with consultants across multiple practices. Based in Sydney, she brings over 20 years of experience in executive search with deep expertise in Chief Financial Officer and senior finance leadership appointments across private equity portfolio businesses, ASX-listed companies, and privately-held organisations.

Julia's commercial approach to research gives her a nuanced understanding of the financial leadership capabilities that drive performance, particularly in businesses navigating growth phases or critical inflection points. She is known for thinking laterally to solve complex briefs, applying innovative search strategies and the latest technology to identify and engage both active and passive talent across the market.

Prior to her current role, Julia spent nearly six years as a Research Consultant in the Financial Services and Chief Financial Officer practice at Russell Reynolds Associates. Before that, she spent a decade as a Research Manager at Derwent, building the deep foundations in executive search that continue to define her practice today.

Julia holds a Bachelor of Commerce in International Business from the University of Wollongong, where she was invited to join the Golden Key International Honour Society upon graduation.
