Emma is a Principal in our public sector practice with experience in a range of executive search engagements across sectors including professional services, digital and technology, property, education and industrial. 

She brings to her new executive search career more than 30 years as a journalist and communications professional. Reporting in Australia and as a foreign correspondent, she developed a wide network of relationships across all levels of government and the public service and multiple private industries.

Before joining Derwent, Emma spent a year advising leadership teams at the intersection of marketing and issues management, helping them create engaging content and to leverage a dynamic media environment.

She is a strategic thinker who thrives on solving complex challenges. Passionate about diversity and inclusion, she is excited about using her skills in research and analysis to match terrific people to excellent opportunities. 

Emma holds a Bachelor of Arts (Journalism) from Deakin University.
