This exciting new Executive Team role has been created following Council's recent organisational review to design a contemporary senior management structure to support the future growth of the City. The position reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer and as a member of Council's Executive Team, the Executive Director, City Assets and Operations provides strategic support for the whole Council.
This position is responsible for providing executive leadership for the delivery of a wide range of services and projects and the management of Council facilities and assets, to ensure maximum benefit for the community in alignment with the Community Strategic Plan. This includes Capital Projects, Civil Infrastructure Planning, Civil Works Construction & Maintenance, Property Services & Space Management, Sustainability & Waste, Ranger & Parking Services, and Parks Maintenance.
We are seeking an inspirational leader who collaborates across an organisation to shape culture, achieve shared goals and deliver exceptional customer service. You will also embrace and lead change in this dynamic, complex, and high growth environment.
Ideally you will be an experience senior manager with an understanding of Local Government and its regulatory environment and have led large multidisciplinary teams delivering a portfolio of diverse assets and operational services.
