In this role you will be reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer and contributing strategically across the organisation as a member of the Executive Leadership Team, ensuring excellence in performance for the Council, the community, and the environment.
You will also be directly responsible for creating exemplary customer service and support to Council and its business units by partnering to deliver tailored Corporate Services, with a divisional operational budget of $45 million and approximately 100 staff this includes Finance, Customer and Business Improvement, People and Culture, Governance and Risk, Information Services and Strategic Assets and Property Management.
Current focus areas for this leadership role include strategic development and operational projects to enhance the City's digital strategy and corporate software platforms and processes, improving customer experience across all staff, and driving culture change programs to reflect refreshed corporate directions and aspirations.
We are seeking an energetic, experienced, and inspirational executive who builds multidisciplinary teams with the courage to develop and change to provide outstanding services. Experience working in government is not essential, however you must be able to demonstrate your commitment to community and the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders.
