They are currently seeking to appoint a new Chief Veterinary Officer, who will be an integral member of the leadership team and will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of clinical standards and delivery.
As Chief Veterinary Officer, you will report to the COO, Vet Services and provide clinical leadership in the organisation. You will be required to demonstrate clinical expertise, leadership and commercial acumen to ensure the provision of commercially focused, quality veterinary services by veterinarians and vet nurses and that teams consistently uphold the highest standards of clinical care, professionalism and client service.
The Chief Veterinary Officer will also be required to develop and maintain professional relationships throughout the veterinary industry to position the organisation as an industry leader, partner and provider of choice for employees and clients. Given the unique positioning of Greencross, you will also enjoy an opportunity to identify and promote pioneering techniques and treatments in Australia.
We are seeking a Senior Veterinarian with a BVSc or DVM degree from an accredited university and recognised by the AVA. In addition to your clinical expertise, you will have experience in a leadership capacity and have a passion for coaching a clinical team.
In order to be successful, you will be a strong communicator with the ability to represent the organisation on both a national and international level. You will also be commercial, driven and hold true the value of practising to the highest standard of medicine.
